For the 2025 Christmas campaign, we wanted to celebrate Christmas as most of us truly know it — messy, unpredictable, and full of small mishaps. The kind that never quite goes as planned. But also the wholehearted celebration. The cosy moments with family and friends.
The headline, “Vi har allt för en riktig jul,” carries a thoughtful double meaning. On the surface, it simply states: “We have everything for a real Christmas,” positioning Frölunda Torg as the one-stop-shop for everything the holiday season requires. But in Swedish, the word “riktig” means real or genuine — something heartfelt and authentic. It also echoes the beloved lyric from the Swedish Christmas song “Tomten, jag vill ha en riktig jul,” where a child wishes for the kind of Christmas remembered from childhood: filled with traditions, magic, warmth, and togetherness.
For two weeks, the outdoor campaign was displayed across 200 billboards throughout the city. We received emails from people saying they found the campaign lovable and relatable.
